On Sunday, April 18, the Italian Cultural Society of Washington DC presents “Dal flamenco tradizionale alle proprie composizioni“, a conference on the history of flamenco. Angela Centola, an award-winning classical and flamenco guitarist, will talk about the history of flamenco styles called “palos” and perform some of this beautiful music.
Afterwards, Emanuela Raggio of Beautiful Ligura and Laura Marchese of SolArt Rooms Trani will provide information about the Society’s virtual Recommended Trips to Liguria, Piemonte, Toscana, Emilia Romagna and Puglia.
The event takes place at 3:00 pm. (ET) and there is a suggested donation of $5–$10. Registration for the conference will provide a link to the Recommended Trips discussion. Registration and information can be found on the Society’s site.
